Pac-10 Game Predictions

Here are the rest of the Pac-10 games this week with Blogger Matt's thoughts and predictions on each game:

#3 USC at Virginia- USC comes into this game with ummm, Jock Itch issues, and the Trojans steam roll the Cavs 48-10 as the Trojan's defense scores twice and the special team's unit gets in the endzone as well.

#15 Arizona State vs Northern Arizona-ASU takes on the D-1AA school and rolls easily into half up 42-7 and end the game 56-21. Senior QB Rudy Carpenter throws for five touchdowns and puts himself on the map for top QB in the nation.

#18 Tennessee vs UCLA- Rick Neuheisel starts his new gig off against a big powerhouse team in Tennessee and he faces a tough challenge with injuries up the wazoo. The new era of UCLA football starts off cold and the Bruins get beat 34-20 in the Rosebowl.

Oklahoma State vs Washington State-The Cougs start the new era of Couger football under Head Coach Paul Wulff. The Cougs pull out the surprise victory and show good speed and blue collar approach to the game. Cougs win 27-23 in a close one.

Michigan State vs Cal- Head Coach Jeff Tedford rolls with the tag team approach at QB with Senior Nate Longshore and Sophomore Kevin Riley. The plan works out solid but the Bears can't pull out the victory in Strawberry Canyon as the Sparties pull out the upset win 31-28 in a game winning drive.

Idaho vs Arizona- Mike Stoops sees the door opening for his exit and he lined up an easy out of conference slate and first up is Idaho. Wildcats roll 35-0 and Senior QB Willie Tuitama throws for four touchdowns and zero interceptions.

#21 Oregon vs Washington- Oregon opens up on fire and the Ducks ride the legs of Senior RB Jeremiah Johnson and Junior LeGarrette Blount. Both backs score two touchdowns and both get pulled going into the 4th quarter. The Ducks win this game easy 48-17.

Cal senior QB Nate Longshore sure surprised us all with his sloppy ineptness. The QB question at Cal has been settled: Sophomore Kevin Riley (isn't he from the Portland area?) is the man!
